What differentiates the various Gillette Fusion razor blades?

In short, all Gillette Fusion razor blades are compatible within the Fusion system. ProGlide focuses on improved glide, Power is designed for vibrating razor handles, and ProShield provides extra protection thanks to dual lubrication strips. These are the most noticeable differences:

• Gillette Fusion was the first five-blade system in the series. The cartridges feature a lubrication strip and a precision blade on the back for detailed shaving.
• Fusion Power is intended for Gillette’s vibrating razor handles. The vibrations are designed to reduce friction and provide a smoother glide.
• Fusion ProGlide has thinner blades and an improved lubrication strip for enhanced skin comfort. ProGlide Power is the version for powered handles.
• Fusion ProShield features dual lubrication strips, both before and after the blades, for increased protection against irritation.
• Gillette Fusion5 is the newer name for the five-blade Fusion system. In practice, the difference compared to earlier Fusion versions is minimal.
