What is toner and why should men use it?

Toner is used after cleansing to remove any remaining traces of dirt, limescale and cleansing products left on the skin. One of its key functions is to help restore the skin’s natural pH balance.

How do you use toner?

Apply toner directly after cleansing, before face cream or other moisturizing products. Apply the toner to a cotton pad and gently sweep it across the face to cleanse and refresh the skin.

Many men also use toner after shaving, when pores are often more open. Toner can help soothe the skin and remove any remaining shaving products before applying aftershave balm or face cream.

When is toner needed and for whom?
