Over the following 50 years, the family became known for selling lavender water, classic perfumes, and flower waters to fashionable districts in London. For more than two centuries, they have remained at the heart of London's clubland and received recognition from, among others, royalty.

In 1938, D.R Harris received the prestigious Her Majesty The Queen's Award as chemists. In 2002, they were also appointed chemists and pharmacists to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales.
