Apothecary 87 Ltd. was founded by the bartender Sam Martin as a result of his interest to create the ultimate beard oil for his own beard. After many years with itchy and dry beard, he began to investigate what a good beard oil contain.

Sam created his own basic recipe for beards oil and began to sell it under the brand name Apothecary 87. Today the product range consists of many more products, but all are still designed from a purely selfish interest to make his own beard as good as possible.
