Mühle Alum Pen is a small and practical styptic pencil. It contains alum, which has an astringent and blood-stopping effect. Wet the skin or the pencil slightly, then hold or rub it against the cut. The styptic effect acts immediately, thanks to the alum.
Once the bleeding has stopped, rinse off with cold water — this removes the mineral salt from the skin.
The alum pencil can be used for all types of minor cuts and nicks, typically those that occur while shaving.
